This piece was printed from a stump found driving through Topanga Canyon, California. It's unique shape was created from a burl that was growing on the side of the tree trunk. A burl, "is a tree growth in which the grain has grown in a deformed manner. It is commonly found in the form of a rounded outgrowth on a tree trunk or branch that is filled with small knots from dormant buds" Each print takes two to three weeks to dry and can take several weeks to ship. (Keep in mind all prints are unique and can differ from the image above when ordering therefore there are no returns)
