(AVAILABLE ONLY IN WHITE FRAME)
This particular print shows the cross section of a cedar tree, which reveals the age of the tree. This particular cedar tree was over 80 years old and had several insect dwellings. You can find out the exact age of a tree by counting the rings. The actual term is called “Dendrochronology or tree-ring dating, the scientific method of dating based on the analysis of patterns of tree rings, also known as growth rings.” Each ring represents one year. Each print takes two to three weeks to dry and can take several weeks to ship. (Keep in mind all prints are unique and can differ from the image above when ordering therefore there are no returns)
